Hm, well. I did mean to write to you sooner, but as I am sure you've noticed, the situation here has ... escalated, since your grand dismissal. I haven't the slightest idea what you know and what you do not, but all of House Atsir save Lord Joseph is dead or near enough, so I hope you will understand that if there is not some pressing need, you'll have to make do a bit longer, on your own.
We haven't forgotten you, our hands are simply tied. Have you enough food? Shelter? The water, of course, will hardly be a problem with the rains as they are ... you are still outside the city, I hope.
